The livelihoods of 1.5 million Afghan nomads are endangered by COVID-19. The Kuchi tribe are amongst the poorest and most marginalised groups in Afghanistan and make their living herding sheep and goats. The recent pandemic has hit them hard, with markets closed, they have nowhere to sell their milk products, and continuing to herd has increased their exposure to the virus.
